At long last I have a website! This is one of two sites I have where you can find information about my schedule and current projects! In addition, you can play samples of my most recent project 'Handful', view photographs of my performances, and maybe find out a little about me.

Wammies! I was very fortunate to have been nominated for 4 Wammie (Washington Area Music Association) awards this year. I attended the big award show last Sunday and, while I didn't win in any of my nominated categories, it pleased me no end to have my name up there with a lot of DC musicians that I have enjoyed and respected for many years. The Grandsons won some things, as did JP McDermott and my old a cappella associates the Tone Rangers, so there was much to celebrate. For any of you who follow these proceedings, you can see all the nominees and winners at this link. For all of you who supported me, my thanks to you!

Bill's Music on Public Television! No kidding! Tune in to WETA Channel 26 on Sunday, March 9th from 8 - 10 p.m. for "Next Stop Silver Spring," a documentary by DC-area filmmaker Walter Gottlieb on the history of the B&O railroad and, more specifically, the restoration of the old B&O Railroad Station in downtown Silver Spring. Walter solicited original songs from local artists. As a longtime resident of Silver Spring, I was pleased to offer up, and have him accept, a tune I wrote about the station itself. (Granted, you'll only hear snippets in the documentary, but there will be a soundtrack CD with the whole deal on it available soon). I won't be tuning in that night, though, because I'll be performing at Wonderland Ballroom
